WinSPIRE Undergraduate Student Internship Program
Are you an undergraduate student in STEM who is interested in contributing to the Summer Research Program?
Apply to be a summer intern!
Summer Interns will have the opportunity to share their experience as a UNC student pursuing a STEM degree with high school students enrolled in the Summer Research Program. Summer interns will also have the opportunity to tour research labs on campus, meet local biotech professionals, and network with research professionals on campus.

Gain Experience in:
Program Development
Interns will be involved in WinSPIRE Summer Research Program curriculum development, including college and STEM career prep workshop creation.
Event Planning
Interns can assist with fundraisers and community event planning. Events include Trivia Night, the Strides for STEM 5K, and a Career Fair.
Grant Writing
Interns will get the opportunity to be involved in STEM outreach grant writing, including gender studies research, grant application writing, and editing.
