Maddi is a second-year PhD student in the Behavioral and Integrative Neuroscience program. She researches the relationship between binge-like ethanol consumption and neuroimmune signaling in the VTA, a key brain region implicated in substance use disorders, including alcohol use disorder. In her free time, she loves getting outdoors, participating in science outreach, and spoiling her cat, Freya.
