Gates Schneider

Volunteer Recruitment and Coordination Member

Gates is a 3rd year PhD student in the Neuroscience Curriculum at UNC. She is a member of the Kato Lab and currently studies the role of the Insular Cortex in auditory processing and sensory-guided associative learning. When not in the lab, she greatly enjoys theatre and dance. She has also sung in a wide variety of choirs and is currently performing with the North Carolina Master Chorale.
