Monika Kataria

Monika is a post-doctoral research associate with the Yan Research Group at the Department of Applied Physical Sciences. She works with synthesis, fundamental studies, and applications of nanomaterials (e.g., upconversion nanoparticles, plasmonic noble metals, 2D materials, etc.) both at thin film and single nanoparticle level. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, learning about different languages and culture, painting, and practicing meditation & spirituality.
